President of the Republican Assembly Zorlu Töre visited the TCG İmbat assault boat ship, which came from Turkey and opened to the public in Kyrenia within the framework of the May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk Youth and Sports Day events.
According to the information given by the Assembly of the Republic, the Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic Zorlu Töre, UBP Nicosia MP visited the TCG İmbat assault boat ship, which came from Turkey and opened to the public at the Kyrenia Tourism Port within the framework of the May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk Youth and Sports Day events. UBP Nicosia MP Ahmet Savaşan also accompanied President Töre during the visit.
Töre, who inspected the ship and received information from the authorities about its capabilities and capabilities, said in his statement here that the Turkish nation has an army-nation mentality and that this is how the national consciousness is reinforced.
Töre noted that the song “We connected the road from Kyrenia to Anatolia”, which was sung after the July 20 Peace Operation, is still sung with great enthusiasm and said, “May God not separate the Turkish nation and the Turkish Cypriot people”.
On July 20, Töre emphasized that the Turkish soldiers united with the Mujahideen and gave life and blood, and reminded that the independent TRNC State was established at the end of this struggle.
Expressing that they celebrated May 19 with enthusiasm, Töre said that Atatürk should always be understood well and his words “Independence is my character” should be adopted as a motto.
